How to Draw Mountains, Step by Step

draw mountainsHey guys, It’s been a while since I’ve submitted something here. I wanted to introduce some of you to a new tutorial that should be very helpful for your artist needs. Here in this lesson, you will learn “how to draw mountains step by step”. This tutorial is very nice for all of those who aren’t too keen on the mountainous terrain of our world. I believe mountains were created by volcanoes that layered magma upon magma. The dinosaurs long ago lived on mountains as well. I watched a dragon documentary that showed of dragons that possibly existed. Well, I’ll move onto the tutorial now. I hope you peeps will enjoy :)

Step 1. Sketch out the basic guide work for the shape and form of the mountains. This is ideal for creating the atmosphere of beautiful mountains that tower high above the peaks.

Step 2. Start drawing more of the details to the mountains. This should be easy because of the high steeps and mini hills that are built into these structures.

Step 3. After you’ve finished the step above. Start working on the surroundings of the mountains. These surroundings are usually large lakes and high grass that accompany this environment.

How to Draw Trees, Step by Step

draw trees drawingI’ve been browsing along and found a great tutorial that I found extremely helpful. Ever wonder why trees are sometimes a haggle to draw? I mean, if you practice enough you should be able to draw good looking trees, right? How about learning “how to sketch a tree step by step”? I looked all over the web to find such a tutorial as this. Learning “how to draw trees step by step” can be so easy by using this online guide. My mother used to be a painter and all she would paint was the peach trees in our back yard. Did you know that trees give off most of the world’s oxygen? It’s pretty fascinating if you really think about. How could trees produce oxygen for so many people. It makes me think about the tree and plant population disintegrating to upkeep human life. Sometimes trees are cut down for things in the world that don’t matter. Anyways, I wanted this friendly lesson on how to draw a tree to be an easy lesson for avid artists. Just remember to keep practicing and you’ll soon be able to get awesome outcomes.

Step 1. Define where you want to draw your tree. Observe your paper and indicate how your tree would look on it. If your aiming for a single tree with some grass and a few plants scattered around it, I would draw it in the middle of the paper. If your planning to sketch out a few trees, scatter them in locations where they all look connected. This will create a eerie and unique feel.

Step 2. Next, sketch out the detailing to the bark and branches. The leaves are probably going to be the hardest to sketch out. I would prefer sketching the leaves in fast strokes where you could tell that there are leaves in the area. Make sure you keep these strokes close to one another. Don’t forget to define the direction of your light source. Overlaying shadows is also important to add depth and dimension to your leaves.

Step 3. Fill in some grass and shrubs around the tree or trees. This will make it seem that the tree is in some kind of wilderness. Extra shading on the sides of the objects will make your drawing seem toned and more interesting.

How to Draw a Landscape, Step by Step

Howdy folks, I was searching through YouTube today and found a lovely tutorial on “how to draw a landscape step by step” . This video tutorial explains in detail on what tools you’ll need, what type of shading you’ll need, and what styles you’ll be drawing a landscape in. In this case, we will be drawing a basic sky with a beautiful setting sun. I’ve drawn landscapes in my past time and had a bit of a problem sketching the soft details. There are plenty of ways to draw these enchanting settings. One way could be by sketching your backyard. Just sitting outside your porch could help get you inspired once you observe the settings around you. Believe it or not, refreshing air can wake up that creative mind of yours to get the drawing skills to kick in. I’ve done this plenty of times and found it to be ultimately useful. The way the artist shades the soft edged clouds makes me inspired to soft shade clouds with a charcoal. This artist shows you how he uses cotton balls to smudge in certain edges to make the clouds appear more realistic. The artist has plenty of more videos on how to draw a wide variety of landscapes.

How to Draw a Rainforest, Step by Step

draw rainforest drawingHello there, my name is Carly and today I’ll be submitting a tutorial on the most popular type of landscape in the world. I’m pretty sure most of you know about the destruction of the rainforests. There has been so many turmoils with these beautiful landscapes, that it’s turning our planet into a cold and ghostly desert. I have lots of inspiration to submit this pleasant tutorial. Did you know that rainforests are becoming extinct? Our world used to flourish with green trees and exotic plants and animals. At this very century, we have less then we used to. I really hope that someday we will come together strong and rebuild what we have lost. Do any of you know what continent has the most rainforests? If you guessed South America, then your absolutely right! Today we will be learning “how to draw a rainforest step by step”. Well, enough with the babbling, let’s move onto the tutorial!

Step 1. Sketch out lightly the basics for the rainforest. This means draw the guidelines that’s shown in the image. If you do this, it will help you draw the detailing a lot easier. I made this tutorial just for you so it would be the easiest. When you draw a landscape, you have to define the foreground, mid-ground and background. This tutorial will show you just the exact path you need. Move onto the next step if you want to get this done.

Step 2. Now you will want to draw the actual detailing to the forest. What you will want to do first, is sketch out the bushes and leaves to the tops of the trees. This will make things much easier once you’ve completed this. After that, move onto sketching the large exotic plants hanging off the trees. To make your rainforest seem more exotic and mystical, add the long draping vines connecting from tree brush to tree.

Step 3. Next, you will finish drawing the bottom halves of the tree tops. This is also the part of the lesson where you have to sketch out the trunks of the trees. The trees are at a far distance, so the trunks shouldn’t be seen large. The further away you get from the trees, the smaller they appear. Finish off the rest of the vines as well.
